We hold all of the relevant insurance for our catering shacks, and hold a 5 star hygiene rating
Clean and insured
We can supply a wide range of catering units such as, hot dogs, burgers, chips, pork roast, stir-fry, fish and chips, seafood, and baguettes, Bigfoot’s Traditional Irish Pork Sausages, Jacket Potatoes, Candy Floss, Doughnuts, Pancakes and Ice Cream Plus many more. Units are l4ft, 16ft, 18ft, 20ft long and all sell tea, coffee and cold drinks. We are the complete refreshment service. Please note, prices always vary due to rents and attendance of the event.
Since January 2005, British Event Catering has acquired a full food court, comprising of 200 tables & 800 chairs, 54 trails fencing, 34 artificial 6ft trees and flowers for tables. All units can operate with tables and chairs if required. Marquees are available for a small charge.
Our staffs are fully trained and units are custom built with all work areas being made from stainless steel and they meet all health & safety regulations. We also have in place HACCP “Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point” system as recommended by the Department of Health. All Department of Health officers can inspect at any time.
Food being served by B.E.C units all have two or more outside litter bins. All litter will be cleared away during and at the end of each day of the event. We have our own water tanks, and silent running diesel generators, so noise can be reduced to a minimum.
It is essential that all caterers must be registered with a local council. We are registered with: Mrs Hilary Bright at: Thurrock Council, Environmental Health, Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, Thurrock, Essex, RM17 6SL. Tel: ( 01375) 652110.
Public liability up to £5 million. Employer’s liability up to £10 million. We hold this insurance with: Barclay Brown & Co. 7/9 Church Row, Chambers, Liverpool Road, Longton, PR4 5PN.
